All proceeds from the workshop will go to supporting the victims of the recent natural disaster in Piura, Peru, home of the Vicus and Tallan cultures and ancient pottery traditions.  In addition, Polo will hold two raffles, the first for one of his vases and the second for one of his paintings.  Proceeds from the raffles will also aid the victims in Piura, Peru.  Vase raffle ticket - $10.  Painting raffle ticket - $20.  Raffle tickets may be purchased at the League and at Gumbo Limbo Pottery (7636 SW 117th Ave, Miami, 305-586-3162).
At this workshop, you will receive the gift and enjoyment of learning to make a beautiful whistle, a technique that has been passed down from generation to generation among the peoples of Piura, Peru.  AND, you will be giving the gift of support to the people of Piura who have lost their homes and loved ones in the devastating floods that swept through the region in March.
